Polly's 2nd Birthday.

today i found my reason to start a blog.  to write about being a mother, its my first time.  the ups and downs and how i go & get through them.  hopefully with a sense of humor.  my daughter is two years old.  her second birthday was this past monday, april 18th.  i had all kinds of plans for the weekend and for her birthday.   then she woke up saturday morning with a fever and nasty cold.  weekend plans canceled.  she spent her actual birthday picking the blueberries out of her birthday blueberry pancakes, squashing them with her fingers, then pushing the rest onto the floor (no appetite at all).  then being chased around by me with two sippy cups and a dropper full of liquids TRYING to keep her hydrated.  then the next round i would chase her around with her nose sucker and tissues to clean up her runny nose.  oh then the final round is the chase with aquaphor (lotion) to make sure her skin doesn't dry up.  repeat.  today, she started finding ways to hide from me.  happy birthday polly!
